The use of antibiotics has – over the past fifty years – considerably reduced the incidence and mortality rates of disease. However, a great many germs have developed a resistance to antibiotics, which has in turn lowered the chances of treatment being successful.

Selecting the right antibiotic requires a great deal of expertise on the part of the doctor, since the sensitive germs, as well as the medicines that can be prescribed for related diseases, are constantly changing, while the pharmacokinetic effects of the newer antibiotics are not yet known.

One of the Company’s antibiotics is the first-line treatment for community-acquired inflammation of the ear, sinusitis and pneumonia, of varying severity, and as well as a number of dermatological syndromes. Symptoms such as a strong, throbbing earache, purulent nasal discharge, coughing, fever and breathing difficulties, are most commonly the result of a bacterial infection, which are primarily treatable with antibiotics.

Tailoring the therapy to suit the individual patient is made easier by the variety of forms (tablet, suspension, injection) in which the medicines can be prescribed.

The efficaciousness of a medicine against the bacteria (i.e. the extent to which a patient can be cured, and how quickly) is largely dependent on the concentration of the medicine at the site of the infection. Many antibiotics only achieve the desired effect if taken 3-4 times a day, while it is sufficient to administer our product twice daily. This means that its use does not require special care to be taken, for example, by an adult who is obliged to continue working or a family member looking after a small child. The patient’s ability to accommodate the use of the medicine is further improved by the fact that our product can be taken at mealtimes, with no need to wait 2-3 hours as advised in the case of many other products.

The medicine is also available for children – orally, in suspension form. It has a great taste, and does not cause allergy. The provided measuring syringe makes it possible to ensure that the little patient only receives the prescribed dose, thus avoiding any undesirable side effects resulting from the ingestion of too little or too much of the medicine.

Another beneficial feature of our product, and one that certainly does not apply to all antibiotics, is that it can be taken during pregnancy. Our other antibiotic product is an active ingredient which is highly effective against certain bacterial infections.

Frequent urination accompanied by a burning, stinging sensation, lumbar pain, a high temperature, or chronic bronchitis, are often the symptoms of bacterial infections. It can be administered safely, even to seriously ill patients who take several different medicines simultaneously.
